Update 2 – Features and Improvements
PATCHING LED TAPE AND ROPE TO MULTIPLE UNIVERSES
LED Tape/Rope objects can now be easily patched to multiple DMX universes, allowing full visualization of all LEDs/Segments, regardless of the number of LEDs or universes required. These new controls have been added to the LED Tape and Rope Wizard, as well as to the Properties of these objects.
PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENTS
This update brings performance increases in
– Smoke Particle Effects simulation
– File saving speed has been increased, including when Auto Recover information is saved.

NEW PARTICLE EFFECTS ENGINE
Wysiwyg 2023 brings a highly requested particle effects engine, with this new technology, you can now simulate both smoke machines and flames in your designs with stellar accuracy. This powerful engine enables us to develop new effects in the future including pyrotechnics, confetti, CO2 jets and beyond!
NEW AMBIENT LIGHT OPTION
Shaded View’s natural lighting environment just got a new Ambient Light Profile option called Smooth. This new profile uses improved computations to precisely simulate direct and indirect natural light on surfaces, creating more vivid contrast between direct lit areas and dark/shadowy regions where ambient light has minimal effect.
SAVE CUSTOMIZED LIBRARY ITEMS
It is now possible to save a Library object that had its appearance edited / changed after it was inserted – so it can be recalled with the same appearance in the same or future files.
This will speed up your workflow, as you will no longer have to waste time on changing defaults you don’t like, for objects you insert.
CATEGORIES FOR INSERTABLES
Insertables now have the capability to be sorted and managed more effectively! In the Create Insertable and Add Insertable dialogs, you’ll find new controls for category assignment. To further take advantage of this functionality use our brand-new Insertable Categories Manager.
AUTOMATICALLY CREATED SHORTCUTS FOR LIBRARY ITEMS
This feature will speed up your workflow by automatically creating library items shortcuts as you insert them into your drawing. The advantage to using shortcuts is that once they are created, you no longer need to repeat a search or navigate the library list, to look for the items they represent.
