BlackTrax Wins Best Projection Product Software Category
A panel of expert designers and programmers in the disciplines of lighting, sound and projection selected BlackTrax real-time motion tracking solutions in the projection software category of the Live Design Products of the Year Awards 2015.
Organized by Live Design magazine and Penton Business Media, the awards will be presented during the New York Master Classes in June at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and The Gallatin School, alongside the Excellence In Live Design Awards.
BlackTrax is a very easy to use real-time tracking system, which delivers precise streaming positional data of a target or many targets to anyone that needs it and who wants to be more creative in the entertainment production industry.
Using proprietary IR and RF, BlackTrax delivers dynamic streaming positional data with six degrees of freedom (x, y, z, plus roll, pitch & yaw) to sound re-enforcement, automated lighting, multimedia servers, and robotic camera systems – plus very soon even lasers, all at the same time.
BlackTrax is supported by a team of passionate and dedicated people from within our industry.“Winning this award is proof for us, that we are on the right track, having listened to our customers and incorporated what they want in BlackTrax, it meets their demands for high-speed and incredible accuracy performance tracking. It’s recognition that we’re doing it right!” said Gil Densham, President at CAST BlackTrax Ltd.
Complementing its comprehensive portfolio and project list, BlackTrax has been successfully deployed to track live actors and communicate with lights within a sponsored TV commercial, screened during one of the largest sporting events in America. This is in addition to tracking live actors, moving scenery, props and all sorts of vehicles in the Marvel Universe LIVE! Show, now touring North America and by tracking of a multiple moving projection canvas at the recent Dubai government awards ceremony, all with huge success.
Those who were fortunate to attend NAB 2015 in Las Vegas would have been able to experience this award winning technology, showing BlackTrax tracking, driving robotic camera technologies in the Mark Roberts Motion Control booth.
