Demo and Viewer Install

After clicking on the link above to begin downloading the Vivien Installer, click Run in the window that appears, in order for the installation to begin as soon as the download completes. Once the installation is finished, allow your computer to reboot as requested. To begin evaluating the software, please select Vivien Demo and Viewer from the Windows Start Menu.

The Vivien Demo offers non-members a chance to evaluate the software by using most of its features. The following feature restrictions apply in the Demo: only the provided sample files may be opened, new files cannot be saved or printed, and rendering is limited to a resolution of 100 x 100 pixels.

The Vivien Viewer provides anyone with the capability to open any Vivien file in order to look at its contents from various views such as Drawing Wireframe, Virtual View, Layout, Spreadsheet and/or Event Resources.

Minimum System Requirements

  • Intel Core i3 or compatible processor, 2.0 GHz, or better
  • PC running Windows 7 with Service Pack 1, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10
  • MAC computer with Intel Processor platforms running Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 or Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 via Bootcamp (recommended), or Parallels Virtual Machine*
    *Vivien installed on a Parallels Virtual Machine will run with limited graphical functionality, as it is running on an Integrated video card.
  • 4GB RAM
  • 2GB free disk space (NTFS file system)
  • 1280 x 800 resolution
  • OpenGL-accelerated “gaming-level” video card, with 1GB (or better) video memory and OpenGL 2.1 (minimum) support**
    ** Integrated video cards may be used, but are not recommended.
