Features and Improvements

64BIT ARCHITECTURE

wysiwyg is converted to a 64-bit architecture as part of R43. As a result, stability and performance increase can be noticed across all modes, CAD, DATA, DESIGN, PRES, LIVE, with more responsiveness and less delays when switching modes and tabs.

NEW IN WYSIWYG VR

R43 packs many new features for VR including a highly requested Companion Mode, where you can control some VR features on behalf of the person experiencing it. Perfect for those immersive client presentations!

NATIVE SHADED VIEW RECORDING

Recording the Shaded View is now possible from within wysiwyg, using wysiwyg’s native video capture feature and setting your preferences through the new Shaded View Output Tool. Videos are recorded in a choice of high/medium/low quality settings and saved as a .MP4 file.

NDI OUTPUT OF SHADED VIEW

Any Shaded View can be output as an NDI stream. Use the Shaded View Output Tool to start/stop outputting the Shaded View as an NDI source to others on your network.

IMPROVED SKETCHUP COMPATIBILITY

Thanks to the 64bit architecture change, wysiwyg R43 is now compatible with Sketchup files version 2017, 2018, 2019.

CUSTOM TABS

Custom Tabs were previously introduced in CAD mode, and are now available in Design and Live modes. Custom Tabs allow you to define a customized tab view layout that better suits your working preferences.

STATIC CAMERA REPRESENTED IN SHADED VIEWS

Camera models are now visible in Shaded View to represent their position and orientation. When you hover the cursor over a model, it will display its camera name. When not needed, these models can be toggled on/off from the View Options.

R43 GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS AND BUG FIXES

General improvements and fixes across all wysiwyg modes.

LIBRARY ADDITIONS

A new record! Over 230 new fixtures have been added to R43 Library. In addition, there are new accessories, gels and gobos, truss, library objects, as well as some corrections and updates for older fixtures.
