About Your Dongle
Please note the following important information about your dongle
It is NOT a “USB drive”, and it cannot be used as such; it is simply a security key and it does not contain the software installer.
It does not “unlock” the Demo, you must download and install the full application in order to use the dongle.
Installing Your Software
1. Click here to access the Customer Portal on the CAST Software website.
2. Please enter your Login credentials (Email and Password) and click ‘Next’.
Note: If you have purchased a dongle from a dealer Select Products, click Insert Dongle and enter the dongle Serial Code (printed on the white label affixed to the dongle) to add the dongle to your account. Otherwise if your dongle doesn’t appear please contact sales and/or technical support so that they can assign the dongle to your account.
3. Click on Downloads, select the version and then click the installer to start the download; save the installer to your Desktop or another location.
4. Run the installer once the download completes, and follow its prompts to install.
5. Allow the computer to restart at the end of the installation, as requested by the installer.
6. Plug in the dongle into a USB port on your computer, and wait for it to be recognized and set up by Windows; when complete, Windows will display by a ‘device ready to use’ message.
7. Run the software.
Note: For your personal security, CAST’s Customer Portal will ask you to set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) or email verification to protect your account.
