Updated GrandMA Driver On Its Way
CAST November 19, 2013

Problem:

The latest version of the grandMA2 system software (version 2.9.0.7), along with the latest version of grandMA2 onPC, does not send DMX data to WYSIWYG once connected through the current Connectivity Driver (version 1.000).

Update:

An update to the connectivity driver is on the way from MA Lighting and should be available soon–please check for this update over the next few days, at the bottom of http://www.malighting.com/en/support-downloads/software.html.  In the meantime, if you are able to wait, please do not update your console to version 2.9.0.7 (if you need to connect to WYSIWYG over the next few days); if you have already done so, you may connect via ArtNet (see Appendix D of the WYSIWYG Reference Guide for information on how to do this), but please note that you will not be able to take advantage of AutoFocus when connected this way.  If you are using grandMA2 onPC, it is perfectly safe to have both version 2.9.0.7 and any previous version(s) installed on the same computer; as such, you may use the previous version until the updated driver is available.
